My ScreenRant Piece On Lost’s Timeline

It’s not everyday that a writer gets to spend their work hours on a thorough, long-form examination of one of their favorite shows. In fact, I consider myself lucky to ever have a day like that. When I saw an opportunity to cover a full timeline of Lost’s events, I jumped on it, and it quickly became a much more multi-faceted piece.
I’ve loved Lost since my mom showed it to me as a tween, and I remember finishing the series and being blown away by the explanation videos and articles I read then. It’s an honor to try my hand at my own professional assessment.
With time to think and form my own opinions, Lost has only grown in its beauty, though I’ve also come to accept criticisms about it. That said, I’ve grown on the idea that a piece of writing doesn’t have to be perfect, and that the imperfections can help form a unique shape.
This piece was intended to be 1,500 words, but it ended up coming out to around 3,800. If you’re a Lost fan, give it a read and let me know if it aligns with your perspective on the show’s meaning.
